The process

How it works

Four simple steps from sign-up to payout — no treasurer, no spreadsheets, no guesswork.

  1. 1

    Sign up & verify

Register with your phone number, confirm the SMS code, and verify your identity with your Ghana Card.

  2. 2

    Create or join a circle

Start your own susu circle or join one with an invite link. Set the amount, frequency, and payout order.

  3. 3

    Contribute with mobile money

Approve each contribution right from your phone with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or AT Money.

  4. 4

    Receive your lump-sum payout

When your turn comes, Cashly's rotation engine pays you out automatically. No treasurer, no disputes.

Why Cashly

Everything a susu circle needs

Built to feel as trustworthy as a treasurer you've known for years — with none of the risk.

Automated rotation engine

Payout order can be random (shuffled weekly), fixed by the admin, or goal-based. Everyone sees the queue.

Escrow-protected funds

Contributions are held with regulated financial partners — Cashly is a technology facilitator, not a cash custodian.

Trust scores

Every member builds a visible trust score from their payment record, so you always know who you're saving with.

Live circle tracking

See cycle progress, payout queues, next recipients, and payment history in real time.

Built-in circle chat

Coordinate with your circle members without leaving the app.

Smart reminders & notifications

Never miss a contribution date; get instant confirmations for every payment and payout.

Locked Savings

Lock a lump sum for a fixed term — 30, 90, or 180 days — and Cashly keeps it untouched until it matures, then releases it straight to you.

Two ways to save

Group or individual — your circle, your rules

Whether you're saving with your people or just for yourself, Cashly keeps it fair and on schedule.

Group circles

Save with family, friends, or colleagues

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is a susu circle?

A group savings arrangement where members contribute periodically and receive lump-sum payouts on a rotational basis.

Is my money safe?

Contributions are held in escrow with regulated financial partners. Cashly acts as a technology facilitator, not a financial custodian.

Who can use Cashly?

Anyone 18 or older with a valid Ghanaian phone number and Ghana Card.

How is the payout order decided?

Circle creators choose: random (system shuffles weekly), fixed slots assigned by the admin, or goal-based saving until a specified date.

What happens if someone misses a payment?

One missed payment results in a warning; two can result in removal from the circle. Trust scores reflect payment history.

Can I use Cashly without a smartphone?

Not yet — our engineers are working hard to bring Cashly to USSD, so anyone without a smartphone or internet access will be able to join in soon.
